Shibli Faraz advises to use less petrol, 'I will stop taking petrol bath every day'

Pakistan's Minister for Science and Technology Shibli Faraz has advised people to try to minimize the use of petrol.

It may be recalled that on Tuesday, the government of Pakistan had immediately increased the price of petrol by 12.03 paisa per liter and diesel by Rs 9.53 per liter, after which they faced criticism from social media users.

Asked about the recent rise in petroleum products, Shibli Faraz said, "We should use as little fuel (petrol) as possible and in difficult times, life is not normal."

He said that the price of oil in the international market has reached $ 95 per barrel.

Social media users are criticizing the Minister of Science and Technology for this statement.

A user named Malik Arshad said sarcastically that "I mean whoever has to go from Faisalabad to Lahore should go to Nankana Sahib, or ride a motorbike instead of a car. If he wants to save more, he can go by bicycle."

Criticizing Shibli Faraz's advice, Fehmida Yousifi said, "Let's just take a deep breath.
